Dr. Butterworth
Dr. Butterworth graduated from the University of Guelph with his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1967. He opened the Timmins Animal Hospital in 1974 after spending two years working in a small animal practice in Chicago, Illinois and a year working in a mixed practice in Pickering, ON. In 2020, he celebrated his 53rd year in the veterinary field and 50 years of service in Timmins and the surrounding area. He still loves the profession and plans to continue to offer his expertise for many more years to come.
When he’s not at work, Dr. Butterworth enjoys gardening, woodworking, and home renovation projects. He owns two cats – Audi and Willow, a Ragdoll.
